Fire hits Koronadal village

KORONADAL
CITY – A fire of still unknown origin gutted down a boarding house and five
stores in a conflagration in Pantua Village, Barangay Zone 3, Koronadal City
Sunday afternoon.

Bern
Hinay, village chair of Barangay Zone 3 said the fire started after an explosion
inside one of the stalls.

Officials
from the Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire quickly spread as the stalls
and boarding house were made of light materials.

Arson
investigators are still determining the amount of damages to properties. Nobody was hurt in the incident.
