Surallah, Sto. Nino, Norala rule Tnalak street dancing competition

KORONADAL CITY -- A contingent representing the town of Surallah, South Cotabato ruled one of the three categories of the street dancing competition featuring local culture and tradition.In fact, the Purok Sison Elementary School won the championship in Kadsagayan a Lalan for the third straight year, this time taking home P320,000 cash prize, including the P20,000 additional prize from Sen. Nancy Binay.1st runner up went to Christian School of Polomolok, and 2nd runner up was Panay National High School, Municipality of Sto. Niño. They took home P270,000 and P220,000 cash prize, including an additional P20,000 cash prize each from Sen. Binay.In the Madal Be'Lan category, the Sto NinoNational High School of Sto. Niño town was declared champion whileKoronadal Academy of Tampakan and Santa Cruz Mission School, Inc., Municipality of Lake Sebu, were named first and second runners up. The presentation of each contingents can be viewed at the FB page of South Cotabato provincial government. In the Kasadyahan sa Kapatagan category, theLapuz National High School of Norala, South Cotabato was the champion while first runner up went to Tampakan National High School and second runner up was Tantangan National Trade High School of Tantangan, South Cotabato.The Koronadal Academy of Tampakan of Tampakan town was awarded for having the best musical ensemble and got P5,000.00
