(UPDATE 2) 2 die, 4 hurt in Koronadal pawnshop hold-up

KORONADAL CITY (Sept. 18/NDBC) – Two security guards were killed, two other
guards and two minors were wounded when six armed men robbed a pawnshop
Thursday noon, police said.

Supt.
Nestor Salcedo, Koronadal City police chief, said the gunmen arrived on three
motorcycles and parked beside the Agencia Brillantes pawnshop along Osmenia
Street, Koronadal City at past 12.

KORONADAL CITY(Sept. 18/NDBC) -- Six armed men barged inside a pawnshop here at past noon today, declared hold-up and shot dead to security guards, radio reports said.Police and witnesses said six men arrived on two separate motorcycles, barged inside Brillantes Pawnshop along Osmenia Street, Koronadal City and declared hold-up at about 12:35 p.m.Police identified the slain Brillantes Pawnshopsecurity guard as Joan Lazaga.

BIFF junks House invitation

COTABATO
CITY (Sept. 18/NDBC) – The Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) will
never attend any consultation or public hearing about the Bangsamoro Basic Law
(BBL), its spokesperson today said.

We
will not participate in any hearing on BBL. Never,” Abu Misry Mama, speaking
for the BIFF, told DXMS Radyo Bida Cotabato.

Mama
said after hearing the news that the House will invite BIFF founding chair
Ustadz Ameril Omra Kato, he phoned Kato for his comment.

Matalam health searches wives of suspected HIV positive

Region in Muslim Mindanao (DILG-ARMM) today confirmed the assumption of Vice
Mayor Marop Ampatuan of Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao as the town's acting mayor. The DILG-ARMM
now recognizes Vice Mayor Ampatuan as the acting mayor of Shariff Aguak,” Lawyer
