Fire hits Cotabato City Assessor's Office

COTABATO CITYA conflagration hit the Cotabato City Assessor's Office at the second floor of the Peoples Palace at past 7 a.m. Monday, fire officials said.City Fire spokesperson James Ra told DXMS Radyo Bida, the fire was started at the office air condition unit inside the office. COTABATO CITY - The scheduled 12-hour power interruption in North Cotabato's first district announced by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has been called off.Melfrance Bambi Capulong, speaking for NGCP Southern Mindanao, said the scheduled preventive maintenance of 138K Kabacan-Simuay line was cancelled.NGCP earlier set 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. power interruption in PPALMA area due to the preventive maintenance works.She said instead, NGCP field workers will work on the bombed Steel Tower No. 68 in Pagangan, Aleosan, North Cotabato.
