Cotabato Light announces 2 to 3 hours brownout

COTABATO CITY - Power rationing continues in Cotabato City and in nearby towns covered by its franchise, the power firm Cotabato Light and Power Company said.Due to limited power supply from hydro, coal-fired and diesel-fed power generators, the Cotabato Light has to implement power rationing today which ranges from 2 to 3 hours.Arlene Hepiga, Cotabato Light communications officer said rationing of 1 to3 hoursstarted at 9 a.m. and will last until 10 p.m.

Power rationing again in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY - The Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light) will, again, implement rotational brownout today due to power deficiency from the country's power generator.In a statement, Arlene Hepiga, corporation communications officer, said the a one to two hour rotational brownout starts at 10 a.m. Thursday.Brownout will take place in the following feeders.

Another explosion hits Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY – Another grenade exploded in this city,
this time right at the perimeter fence near themain sentinel gate of 6th Civil Military
Operations Battalion at PC Hill.

The blast at 6:15 p.m., the fourth since Nov. 14, occurred while
the Veterans Avenue where the CMO battalion office was located, was busy with
commuters, motorists and even pedestrians.
