BDA to conduct business advisory training
COTABATO CITY -Capacitating the Bangsamoro Development Agency staff in enterprise management is one of the immediate objectives of the Programme for Local Economic Development through Enlightened Governance and Grassroots Empowerment (PLEDGE).This is in anchored with the organization’s tagline Building People who will Build the Nation.”As part of the program implementation agreement, a two-day training on business advisory is planned to be conducted on December 19-23, 2014 at Cotabato City. Before capacitating the community, you must be capacitated first,” Rudy Baldemor, International Labor Organization (ILO) consultant told BDA staff.Expected participants are BDA staff including Ustadz Mohammad S. Yacob, PhD, BDA executive director and Dr. Saffrullah M. Dipatuan, MD, BDA chairperson, along with its board of directors and regional managers.Other attendees are representatives from ILO office based in Cotabato City. Mayuko Shimakage, World Bank consultant, is also expected in the activity.PLEDGE is one of BDAs various implemented programs focused on livelihood. It is supported by the ILO as trust fund recipient under the Mindanao Trust Fund Reconstruction and Development Program (MTF-RDP) administered by the World Bank.
