OFWs get aid from OWWA, DOLE 12
KORONADAL CITY- Seventy five repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) from various parts of region 12 have benefited from the Balik Pinas, Balik Hanabuhay Program.” The project aims to provide livelihood starter kits for self employment of distressed OFWs. This is implemented by the National Reintegration Center for OFW (NRCO) of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Jeanet Enolpe, NRCO coordinator in Region 12, said the livelihood starter kits were awarded to the beneficiaries in Koronadal City Thursday, upon completion of livelihood training from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) To ensure its success, beneficiaries of the program underwent training on 'Tocino' and 'Imbutido' making,” Enolpe told DXOM FM Koronadal Friday.
