KORONADAL CITY
- South Cotabato Governor Daisy Avance Fuentes today admitted the province and
Koronadal City was not prepared as compared to Tagum and Davao del Norte to
host the Palarong Pambansa in 2015.
Fuentes said
even before the final bidding, Davao del Norte and Tagum City had started
preparations three years ago.
Fuentes learned
Tagum and Davao del Norte set aside about P400 million for the Palaro which it
used for construction of modern sports facilities.
After learning
the lesson, Fuentes told Koronadal City Mayor Peter Miguel to still bid for
hosting the 2018 national sports events and start the preparations right now.
