JUST IN | The tropical cyclone outside Philippine boundary has further intensified into a severe tropical storm.At 4and00AM today, the center of Severe Tropical Storm Butchoy (international nameNepartak) was estimated at 1,460 km east of Virac, Catanduanes. It has maximum sustained winds of 105 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 135 kph. It is forecast to move northwest at 30 kph. According to PAGASA Weather Forecaster Meno Mendoza, if the cyclone maintains its speed and direction, it will enter PAR within the day.
