Woman delivers healthy baby on board Mindanao Star Bus

KORONADAL CITY - A woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl while on board a mobile Mindanao Star bus heading to Koronadal City from Gen. Santos City on Sundaymorning.Passengers noticedMary Jane Pasion of Tampakan, South Cotabato, was restless while sitting but remained quiet.Her co-passengers noticed she was about to deliver a baby and they assisted her.Pasion told reporters she was on her way to the South Cotabato provincial hospital after she felt she was already on labor. The baby was born at 8:45 a.m. April 24, 2016.Officials of Mindanao Star offered financial aid to Pasion even as they suggested that the baby be named after Mindanao Star.The baby girl was health, hospital officials said.
