Child dies in another Polomolok highway mishap

KORONADAL CITY - Another child dies in another road accidentSouth Cotabato, the third victim of highway mishap, officials said.Police said 7-year-old Jireh Mark Magon of Barangay Cannery Site, Polomolok, South Cotabato was walking on Tuesday morningalong the highway and suddenly leapedand dangledon the railing of a passing Isuzu truck (GCK-367).But the child lost his grip and was ran over by the truck's rear tires. He was rushed to theHoward Hubbard Memorial Hospital in Polomolok and expired while undergoing medication.Police said the truck driver, Jayson Acuna,identified through documents taken from his truck, has escaped.On Monday, two children were killed when a wayward cargo truck rammed on their homes near Crossing Sulit, Polomolok, South Cotabato.
