7 suspected shabu peddlers fall in Koronadal City

KORONADAL CITY - Police arrested here seven men involved in illegal drug trade during a drug buy bust operation Monday.Arrested wereChristopher Manalang, Ronald Alvarez, Arnel Abregana, Carl Anthon Mangao, Mark Dela Cruz, Melvin del Rosario and Ernest John Mateo, all resident of Koronadal City.After confirming illegal activities of the suspects, the Koronadal City anti-drug abuse council and the local police conducted drug buy bust operation inBarangay Zone I, Koronadal City. They have been under surveillance for the past week, Glorio Sandig, KADAC action officer, told DXOM-AM Radyo Bida.The raiding team seize several sachets of suspected shabu, digitan weighing scale, cellphones, marked moneyand shabu parahernalia.Sandig said the suspects were also caught conducting pot session during the drug buy bust operation.Charges for violation of Republic Act 6195 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2000 are being readied against the suspects.
