Sto Nino cops arrest man, woman in shabu pot session inside car

STO NINO, South Cotabato - Two men traveling along the national highway here pulled over at past 9 a.m. on Sunday, pulled out a sachet of methamphetamine hydrochloride and started pot session.Before their session could end, police officers were already around, surrounded the KIA Avella and arrested the suspects.It was supposed to be happy session to satisfy bodily needs for illegal drugs but police acted quickly on tipster's information about their nefarious activities.Chief Insp. Joel Fuerte, Sto Nino police chief, led a team of police officers in arresting Aubrey Lagradante, 33 and Ma. Theresa Bugarin, 29, both residents of Barnagay Poblacion, Sto. Nino. Fuerte did notsay whether the duo was husband and wife or lovers.Also seized from the vehicle were three sachet of suspected shabu, a scissor, digital weighing scale and shabu paraphernalia.Now detained at Sto. Nino police station, the duo are now facing charges forviolation of Republic Act 9165.
