AGFO manifesto on BBL don't affect AFP stance in Mindanao peace process

COTABATO CITY -- Part of the country's democratic system.This was how the leadership of the Armed Forces of the Philippines reacted to a manifesto of the officers of Association of Generals and Flag Officers (AGFO) opposing the passage of Bangsamoro Basic Law.AFP
Spokesperson Col. Restituto Padilla said there's nothing wrong with the manifesto which he said was the AGFO's own opinion.He said the manifesto would not affect the AFP stance on the Mindanao peace process.He assured that the AFP remained behind the peace initiatives of President Aquino.Earlier, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) questioned the timing and motive ofthe AGFO manifesto, asking Why only now? Why not when the BBL was still being drafted.
