Riot erupted inside NorCot provincial jail

KIDAPAWAN CITY - A riot erupted inside the North Cotabato District Jail Tuesday morning, radio reports said.The incident occurred at past 10 a.m. inside the facility. According to a source of Radyo Bida Kidapawan,two groups allegedly clashed inside the jail located at the Amas provincial capitol.Jail Warden Jesus Singson could not be reached for comment as investigation was still on going as of posting.The jail is housing about 700 inmates.
