KIDAPAWAN CITY– The Cotabato provincial government has allotted some P4 million for the cloud seeding operations in areas affected by severe drought. The operations will take place anytime this month, according to the Cotabato Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

COTABATO CITY – The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (DAF-ARMM) will provide assistance to 64,271 farmers and 866 agriculture groups during the first quarter of 2016 under its Agri-Pinoy Program, the region’s Agriculture chief said on Thursday, January 14.Alexander Alonto, DAF-ARMM Secretary, said the department has already lined up its programs and projects for the entire year to empower farmers and farming communities in the region.

COTABATO CITY-– To allow sardines to spawn freely, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BFAR-ARMM) is strictly implementing a three-month closed season for sardine fishing in the Sulu Sea and the Basilan Strait. The closed fishing season would last until March.
