KORONADAL
CITY - To promote sharing of best practices in good governance, cultural, socio-economic, sports , and education development, a sisterhood
agreement was inked between the cities of Iloilo and Koronadal.

The
signing was held during thecelebration
of 14th Charter Anniversary and 4th Negosyo Festival of Koronadal City
Wednesday.

The
friendship between the two cities was sealed by Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick
Mabilog and Koronadal City Mayor Peter Miguel.

KIDAPAWAN CITY -Some 30 mountaineering guides and tourism stakeholders completed on Monday a week-long training on eco-tourism and mangrove interpretation at Belmar Eco Park in Glan, Sarangani. COTABATO CITY - The Department of Tourism in Region 12 (DOT-12)is inviting transport groups to get accreditation so they can service tourists in the region, a tourism official today said.Nelly Nita Dillera, DOT-12 regional director, saidthis is in compliance with the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) Department Order Number 2013-01 thatprovides all tourist transport operators an endorsement to the DOTC for tourist transport service franchise.

City Mayor Peter Miguel said the people of Koronadal
and neighboring places can expect a more festive celebration this year.

The eight-day merriment will start with Camarines
Sur 3rd District Representative Leni Robredo leading the inagauration of Jesse
Robredo Avenue on October 1.

TACURONG CITY (Sept. 18/NDBC) -- Tacurong City Mayor Lina Montilla will deliver her state of the city address today as the 14th Talakudong Festival culminates.Various activities will also culminate today to include Street Dancing Competition and Kiay-Kiay sa Tacurong, a street dancing competition which commenced at 7 a.m. Thursday.Mayor Montilla's state of the city address will be at 5:30 p.m. at the Tacurong City Cultural and Sports Center.

KORONADAL CITY
(Sept. 15/NDBC) -- The city governments of Koronadal and Iloilo will sign a
memorandum of agreement to establish sisterhood ties aimed at sharing ideas, governance
and best practices.

Koronadal City
Councilor Junnette Hurtado said Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog together
with some local officials of Iloilo City will visit Koronadal City to sign the sisterhood agreement.

The signing is
on October 3 as one of the highlights of
the 5-day 14th Charter Anniversary of Koronadal City.
