GEN. SANTOS CITY -- The anti-criminality campaign against wanted persons of Police
Regional Office 12 recorded an increase on the number of arrested most wanted persons during the first two months of 2018 as compared to the same period last year.During the first two months of 2018, police offices in the provinces of North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Sarangani and Sultan Kudart and the cities of Cotabato, Kidapawan, Tacurong, Koronadal and Gen. Santos, areas that comprised the SOCCSKSARGEN region, arrested 292 wanted persons (WP), 97 regular wanted persons and 775 arrested persons in flagrante delicto (caught in the act of wrongdoing).Chief Supt. The significant increase in the number of arrested wanted
persons is a breakthrough in PRO 12 in just two months operation since PNP’s
campaign against wanted persons was intensified under President Duterte’s administration, Morales said in a statement. He said the police will continue implementing relentlessly the PNP's Manhunt Charlie. The Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDGM) has duly accounted the number of arrested wanted persons in Region 12.

We always have been monitoring all wanted persons in our
list for it is crucial in the performance of our duties and responsibilities, particularly in reducing criminals that threaten our people in the community
and that is one way we can assure that the people of SOCKSARGEN are protected, Morales added.Chief Ispector Aldrin Gonzales, speaking for PRO-12, said the public support in this police campaign was crucial in the increase in number of arrested persons. He asked the public to continue supporting the police anti-crime operation for it will also help ensure and peaceful and safe communities across the region.
