3rd quake aftershock hits Davao City Kiamba, Sarangani and S. Cotabato too
DAVAO CITY -- Another Magnitude 4.0 quake, an aftershock of this mornings tremor, hit Davao City at 7:17 tonight, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.In its bulletin, the Phivolcs said the tremor was still tectonic in origin and traced 6 kilometers west of Davao City and has a depth of 008 kilometers.Intensity 3 was felt in the heart of Davao. No reported casualty or damages to properties. The first quake hit at 9:50 a.m. and recorded at Magnitude 4.7 followed by Magnitude 2.9 at 1:16 p.m.Also a Magnitude 3.3 hit Kiamba in Sarangani province at 11:06 a.m., traced about 41 kilometers west of the coastal town.Intensity 2 was felt in Kiamba and Lake Sebu, South Cotabato and Intensity 1 in Koronadal City.Amiel Cagayan of OMI I-Watch said after the shaking in Lake Sebu, bubbles appeared in the lakePhivolcs said it was tectonic in origin and no reported casualties or damages to properties.
