5 police officers, NUP receive awards from PRO-12

GEN. SANTOS CITY - Following the traditional flag raising
ceremony on Monday, February 26, 2017 at Police Regional Office 12 (PRO12)
Grandstand, five personnel from Regional Investigation and Detection
Management Division 12 (RIDMD-12) were conferred with the Medalya Ng Papuri (PNP
Commendation Medal).

Presiding
Judge Alandrex M. Betoya of Regional Trial Court Kabacan North Cotabato,
assisted by PRO-12 Regional Director Chief Supt. Marcelo C Morales and Chief Supt. Jose A Briones Jr, deputy director for administration
presented the medals to the awardees.

Awarded were Supt
Henry B Villar, PO3 Lucky Bernard N Pineda, Non-Uniformed Personnel Prescilla R Cabrezos, Alendry Omanita Cenas and Romeo C
Morante.

The awards were given
for their exemplary efficiency in the performance of their duties and
responsibilities during the conduct of 2-Day Case
Management Analysis System (CMAS) Seminar participated by 66 investigators from
different police stations region-wide.They were trained ondifferent techniques on i2
Analyst Notebook. Judge Betoya, the guest of honor and speaker during the ceremony, said police officers should always remember that they owe the Filipino people their current position in government service. TheFilipino people deserve police officers who show proper
respect and utmost courtesy, faithful service and due protection.

Judge Betoya also recognizes the difficulties that every police experience and has to face while performing their duties of serving and protecting the people. Always
bear in mind that true success is not measured by how high your station or
position is, neither is success
determined by how much work you have accumulated nor by the level of education
you have attained. True success is measured and determined by a faithful and conscientious discharge of
duties, Betoya told police officers.Chief Supt. Morales also reminded his subordinates of their responsibilities as law enforcers. Serve the people, protect the people, and perform your
duties without fear or favor,
Morales said.He said awards given to the PNP members motivate them to perform better.To have
conferred with the awards mean so much to an awardee for it is a justification
of their commitment to a life-dedicated service to the people, Chief Inspector Aldrin Gonzales, PRO-12 Information Office chief, said.
