6ID holds joint turnover and assumption of new unit commanders
CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao – Brig. Gen. Arnel dela Vega, 6th Infantry Division commander haspresided over the joint turnover and assumption ceremony of the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel, Intelligence and Operations, respectively, this morning.Lt. Colonel Edgar R. delos Reyes, former 34th Infantry Battalion commanding officer based in Midsayap, North Cotabato has been designated as acting Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel, G1 replacing Lt. Colonel Saudi E. Nur.Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence, G2 Colonel Ralph Raul S. Sespeñe was replaced by Lt. Colonel Rogrigo P. Magallanes, who is the former commander of 6th Military Intelligence Battalion.Lt. Colonel Ricky P. Bunayog assumed as the acting Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, G3, who served in dual capacity as the commanding Officer of 33rd Infantry Battalion.Brig. Gen. dela Vega conferred the award of Military Merit Medals to the three outgoing members ofGeneral Staff for their exemplary leadership and achievements during their stint.He reminded the newly installed chief of offices of the challenges accompanying higher positions with higher responsibilities as the new G1, G2, and G3 and to continue the best practices their predecessors have shown. I am confident that they will deliver the best results to be the best for Kampilan Division, Brig. General dela Vega said.The turnover and change of chief of offices in a military organization are normal and routinary eventsin order for the officers to learn new experiences and develop their capabilities.
