Appeal to President Digong from a Catholic priest

APPEAL to PRESIDENT DIGONG...
I had known the President's mother, Nanay Soling, as a young priest when I was then Pastor of Kabacan. I had a RGS Sister, the late Sr. Esperanza Quirino, RGS as my Mission Partner. We and the RGS would go to Davao City on a monthly visit to their Community. There I would meet Nanay Soling during Mass and breakfast at the RGS Chapel. I used to kid her as the Mother Superior of the Community. Nanay Soling was a fervent and devoted daughter of the Church. She was a daily Mass goer and daily communicant, too!
In many ways she always reminded me of my own mother who like her was a devoted daughter of the Church. My faith and devotions came from her... And until now I cherish and love dearly all what she taught me...! Devotion to Jesus Nazareno and the our Mother of Perpetual Help - and also Sto. Nino of Tondo and Our Lady of Good Voyage of Antipolo in May. Everytime, I repeat these rituals, my mother becomes alive again in me! I honor these devotions and rituals as I HONOR the memory of my loving and devoted mother. This love and devotion are MUCH stronger than any theology and scriptures I went through as student!
President Digong, we have known each other for years... and we are both from Mindanao... and we have always consider each other friends! In many ways we are tied to our devoted mothers... In the name of God and in the name of of all that our mothers held sacred no matter our bitter and painful experiences I ask you I appeal to you and I beg you... STOP BULLYING THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!
