Cohort drug dealers arrested in Malungon
SARANGANI -- Two large-scale drug dealers were arrested in separate operations by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Malungon town on Tuesday.
The first to fall in one of the two operations by agents of the PDEA-12 is Sammy Garcia, 52, who was cornered in his hideout in Barangay Kiblat in Malungon.
His accomplice, the 46-year-old Allan Sano, was nabbed in Barangay Datal Tampal in the same town an hour later.
The duo are distributing methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) and dried marijuana leaves in secluded barangays in Malungon and nearby towns in Sarangani province.
PDEA-12 agents recovered from them shabu, to be used as evidence in prosecuting them for violation of the Philippine Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
They are now both detained, awaiting prosecution.
