Cotabato City offices get multicab, motorbikes, equipment

COTABATO CITY -- The city government has distributed multi-carry vehicles on National Heroes Day in an effort to improve local government services down to the barangay level.Aniceto Rasalan, secretary to Mayor Japal Guiani Jr, said aside from village governments, several offices in the city also received a vehicle.These are the City Health Office, City Veterinary Office,
City Accessors Office, City Disaster Risk and Management Office and the city police office.The four police stations got two motorbikes each, computer units and one motorcycle for the office of the traffic management unit.Rasalan said the vehicle and other equipment has a total cost of P18 million taken from the City Disaster Fund.
Mayor Guiani said the equipment will surely help in the readiness of the city in times of disaster.
