Cotabato Light announces weekend brownout

COTABATO CITY - The Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light) has scheduled power interruption in its franchise area this weekend.Arlene Hepiga, communications officer, said the scheduled power brownout is due to National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) maintenance activity.On Saturday, Sept. 3, power interruption will come at 7 to 8 a.m. to facilitate the transfer of loads from Sultan Kudarat substation to Tacurong substation due to scheduled shutdown of Kibawe - Sultan Kudarat 138 kilovolts transmission line.Another one hour interruption will take place in the afternoon from 5 to 6 p.m. for the shifting back of and normalization of load.On Sunday, Sept. 4, power interruption comes at 7 to 8 a.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. for the same activity.
