Daily rational brownout resumes as Cotabato Light gets only 21 MW

COTABATO CITY -- The Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light) today announced it has scheduled rotational power interruption due to limited supply from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP). There's a probability of 1-2 hours of rotational interruption in all feeders during peak hours due to limited supply allocation today of21.6 megawatt only, Arlene Hepiga, Cotabato Light branding and corporate communication staff, said in a statement.Power demand for Cotabato Light franchise is 25 MW. However, the above schedules may be changed or cancelled depending on NGCP allocation, powerplant capability and behavior of demand at a given period of time, she added. Cotabato Light apologizes to its customers for the inconvenience caused by thesepowerinterruptions which are beyond its control.The firm's appeal for wise use of electricity remains.
