Duterte reiterates order KAPA ministry must stop, calling it a scam

GEN. SANTOS CITY – President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday reiterated that KAPA community ministry international must cease operation immediately, calling it an investment scam.
Speaking during the distribution of certificates of land ownership award in Barangay Lagao, Gen. Santos City, Duterte warned those who still join the investment scam by selling their farms to have “pay in” to KAPA that he will punch them.
“Iprenda niyo at bukas ipapatawag ko kayo lahat. Palinyahin ko kayo dyan at pagsusuntukin ko kayo, mapa lalaki o babae man,” the President told CARM beneficiaries.
About 15 kilometer away, thousands of KAPA members from across Mindanao, gathered for a prayer rally.
The emcee repeatedly said “we love you President Duterte” as he announced that the President will be joining them in Calumpang Sports Complex after his activity in Lagao gymnasium.
The emcee said Pres. Duterte Pastor Joel Apolinario had a heart to heart talk in Davao and that the President shall allow the continuation of KAPA provided the group pays P10 billion in tax.
The President also warned the public against investing in various investment scams that the government is hunting down in the coming days.
Aside from KAPA ministry several groups also offer high return of investments, even higher than KAPA offers of 30 percent interest.
“If it is too good to be true, then it is really wrong,” he said.
Apolinario joined his supporters and KAPA members at the prayer rally at about 4 p.m. where he declared “Mabuhay ang atong Presidente,” “Mabuhay ang KAPA,” “Mabuhay si Inday Sara,” as the crowd roared in jubilation.
Apolinario claimed that President Duterte’s heart was “melted” by the number of KAPA supporters gathered in Gensan.
Apolinario also announced that the President was coming to the prayer rally with the KAPA members chanting “Duterte, Duterte.”
President Duterte reiterated his statement that KAPA must stop at past 6 p.m. in his speech at Lagao Gymnasium.
“KAPA is a continuing crime,” Duterte said. “It is non-bailable.”
He warned members that they will be arrested if there are proof they are benefactors or contributors of KAPA ministry.
