Graduation ceremony ng MILF, MNLF police recruits, pinangunahan ni P. Marcos

PARANG, Maguindanao del Norte - PINANGUNAHAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang graduation ceremony ng unang batch ng mga Moro combatants na nagtapos na sa kanilang Bangsamoro Police Basic Recruit Course (BPBRC) sa Camp Pendatun, BARMM Police Regional Office sa Parang, Maguindanao del Norte ngayong umaga.

Ang graduating class ng BPBRC Batch 2023-01 Classes Alpha-Bravo ‘BAKAS-LIPI’, o ‘Bangsamorong Kapulisan, Sandigan ng Lipunang Pilipino,’ ay binubuo ng 100 trainees mula Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) at Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) na may 92 mga lalaki at walong mga babae.

Ang mga dating Moro combatants ay sumailalim sa 23-week program sa ilalim ng Philippine National Police o PNP.

Ang pagpapabilang ng mga Moro combatants sa PNP ay bahagi ng napagkasunduan ng pamahalaan at ng MILF sa ilalim ng Bangsamoro Organic Law o BOL.

Sila ay i-a-appoint bilang mga temporary patrolmen at patrolwomen batay sa nakasaad sa National Police Commission o NAPOLCOM, kung saan bibigyan ang mga ito ng 15 years mula nang makapasok sa PNP, para kumuha ng college degree.

Batay rin ito sa educational standards ng PNP para magkaroon ang mga ito ng permanent status.
