Heavy to moderate rain floods Kabacan and nearby towns

Namnama Abba, Omar Bhen Fissan and Erika Orjaliza posted on their FB page these images of floods in Kabacan, North Cotabato.
KABACAN, North Cotabato - The moderate to heavy downpour that hit most part of North Cotabato led to flooding in some areas, including this town, radio reports today said.
The water level of Kabacan river rose and spilled over to low lying communities, incluidng residential areas as shown in images posted in the social media.
Erika Jade Orjaliza shared the image of her flooded homes in Poblacion Kabacan while Omar Bhen Fissan posted portion of the highway that went underwater following heavy rain this afternoon.
As of posting, Kidapawan City and nearby towns are still experiencing heavy to moderate rain.
Disaster officials of North Cotabato are closely monitoring along with municipal disaster risk reduction and management councils.
