Kabacan student's singing video goes viral

COTABATO CITY (Sept. 4/NDBC) -- A home-made music video of a15-year old high school student from Kabacan, North Cotabatohas been going viral in the internet.Jhong Madaliday visited DXND Radyo Bida-Kidapawan and performed to the staff and listeners' delight.Someone filmed his performance along with two friends and now making waves in the internet, especially youtube and facebook.Published on June 30, 2014 byMarlon Alocilja-Nol Traws on Youtube,now has 282,885 views, as of posting,and is counting. In this video he performed Too much love will kill you, popularized recently by Jovit Baldivino.A young man with a big heart and passion for music, Madaliday was born December 28, 1998and raised in Kabacan, North Cotabato.A man with a powerful voice, heloved OPM artists like Arnel Pineda and Jovit Baldivino.He also love to sing the tracks of Air Supply, The Journey, Bryan Adams etc.Speaking to DXND Radyo Bida, Madaliday could not believe he is now that popular. He recalled that a friend, Zacky Kandalayang, filmed as he sang the Air Supply's Having You Near Me in Pikit, North Cotabato.Marlon Alocilja also posted a video of Madaliday in Youtube.Maisandra Mandaliday Guiamil, Jhong's mother, said he was still six years old when she noticed her son's passion for music.Now that her son is gaining popularity, the mother said she is giving her all out support provided he won't stop schooling.
