Lady CHED-12 records officer shot dead in Koronadal City

KORONADAL CITY -- Unidentified gunmen shot dead alady records officer of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED-12) while she was walking toward the SOCCSKSARGEN regional center here Tuesday morning.Supt. Barney Condes, Koronadal City police director, identified the victim asJennifer Oñas, 43, a resident of Gen. Santos City.Condes said initial investigation showedOñas had just arrived from Gen. Santos City at about 7:15 a.m. and was seen walking toward the regional center when the suspects opened fire from her back.Oñas sustained one gunshot wound in her back.She was rushed to Allah Valley Medical Specialist Hospital where she expired about an hour later, Condes said.
