LPA nears Mindanao, likely rainy in some areas on Good Friday

At 10:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was spotted at 615km east of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte. This weather disturbance is expected to bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over the regions of Eastern Vayas and Caraga. Meanwhile, Bicol region and the rest of Visayas and of Mindanao will have light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.This LPA will likely to develop into a Tropical Depression which will necessitate the issuance of a Severe Weather Bulletin within the next 6 hours.
