BULUAN, Maguindanao -- Maguindanao Gov. Esmael Toto Mangudadatu has urged members of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) to register with the Commission on Elections so they can pariticipate in the democratic process of governance once the Organic Law for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in in place.Mangudadatu issued the statement during the ground breaking of one stop government centers here Wednesday. They should register so their voices are heard, so hey can democratically elect leaders, he said, adding that this is how democracy works in this country. Maguindanao is the hotbed of Moro rebellion and is home of the MILF.This early, he said, Maguindanao is prepared for the coming of new political entity.Mangudadatu also led the ground breaking ceremonies that will make Buluan and Maguindanao like the economic boom of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Fast government service from line agencies in one compound is what the governor had envisioned for Buluan. Like Kuala Lumpur, the area is booming and that is what we envisioned here where our clients need not go to different places to avail of government services, he said.
