Motorist dies in S. Cotabato highway mishap

KORONADAL CITY - A motorist was killed when his motorbike collided head-on with a Kia cargo truck in Barangay Bololma, Tupi, South Cotabato over the weekend.Killed was Allan Rock Fernandez, 23 of Barangay Lambayong, Tampakan, also in South Cotabato.Fernandez was driving his motorbike along the provincial road when hit an oncoming KIA truck which overshot from the concrete pavement and collided with the motorcycle. The truck with temporary license plate111210 from Tupi, was driven by James Mark Egarle, 33 of Tampakan town.Due to powerful impact, Fernandez was thrown off from his motorbike and sustained head injuries. He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
