Macasarte said government projects already in the pipeline for implementation
will continue as planned and will not affected by political issues. Macasarte,
the number one board member, took the seat of Gov. Emmylou Mendoza who was
suspected by the Ombudsman on malversation charges and Vice Gov. Gregorio Ipong
dismissed for charges of corruption and misuse of pork barrel funds. She

Police took custody of a minor who attempted to dupe his parents by pretending
he was kidnapped for ransom in Kabacan, North Cotabato. The 17-year-old boy who was driving a
passenger tricycle went missing on Nov. 10. Two days later, his parents
received ransom demand of P100,000 from an unknown caller who used the child’s
mobile phone. But the police, according
to town police chief Senior Inspector Ronnie Cordero, received a tip the boy
sold his pedicab side car and is still selling the motorcycle. Cordero set up an entrapment one of his men posed
as buyer of the motorbike. A meeting and payment agreement was reached. It will take place along Roxas Extension
Wednesday. The boy was later taken into

guard and a farmer were arrested for allegedy stealing a goat in Gensan Drive,
Barangay Sto Nino here Thursday. Chief
Inspector Sherwin Maglana, identified the suspect as Elesio Tinaga, 34, former
blue guard of Sitio Kadidang, Barangay San Jose and farmer Rex Barillano, 29,
of the same barangay. Maglana said the duo has been involved in goat robbery
