PAGASAand Tail-end of cold front to bring rains over Mindanao Tuesday
MANILA (PNA) -- Rains may prevail over Mindanao on Tuesday as the tail-end of a cold front is affecting the eastern part of the region.In its 24-hour forecast, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flash floods and landslides will be experienced over Caraga and Davao.Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms is expected over the rest of Mindanao, it added.Weather forecaster Loriedin De La Cruz also said the northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon and Visayas.She said cloudy skies with light rains will prevail over Luzon and eastern Visayas, and moderate rains is expected over Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon.The rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over the entire archipelago with moderate to rough seas.
