PRO-12 cops donate blood to save lives
GEN. SANTOS CITY -- Police personnel of Region 12 have have been donating blood as part of social responsibility to
save people’s lives since they entered police organization, making another milestone.and today they have
made another milestone in taking an active response to the call of giving life thru blood donation
aside from their noble job as law enforcers.
The Regional Police Community Relations Division of
PRO12 set Friday's Blood Letting activity in cooperation with TRUE LAB CLINIC
located at Christian Village, Calumpang, General Santos City and the Philippine
Red Cross-Gensan Chapter as a joint social responsibility project.It was themedand Let’s Save Lives Together .
The Philippine National Red Cross Gensan Chapter had
successfully collected 44 bags (19,800 units) of blood from 54 donors.
Supt. Romeo Galgo Jr, PRO-12 spokesperson, said the cops underwent blood pressure, weight and
interview screening before blood extraction.
Miss Michelle Mesa, RMT of TRUE LAB Clinic sincerely
expressed her gratitude for the success of the activity.
