PRO-12 sends cops in North Cotabato for BOL plebiscite

CITY - Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12) under the command of Regional
Director Chief Supt. Eliseo Tam Rasco has deployed again its personnel to
safeguard the upcoming Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) in North Cotabato on
February 6, 2019.
The team is
composed of 582 personnel from PRO 12 Regional Headquarter, Regional Mobile
Force Battalion, City/Provincial Mobile Force Company, alert company.The
contingents will be at their respective AORs from the period February 4-8 until
the plebiscite will be held.
The Regional
Director of COMELEC 12 Michael C. Abas on his message at the send-off rite
thanked PRO 12 for the help and support particularly on the recently concluded
Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) plebiscite in Cotabato City on February 21 wherein
the event was conducted successfully and generally peaceful.
He said that
the towns included for the plebiscite are Aleosan, Carmen, Kabacan, Midsayap,
Pikit, Pigcawayan, and Tulunan, all of North Cotabato Province.

ang iyong tulad at tulong sa halalan ay hindi matatawaran. Ang mandato ng
Comelec na maisuguro ang isang malaya, maayos, tapat, at mapayapang halalan ay
nakasalalay sa pagkakaisa at pagtulong-tulong ng lahat ng kinaukulan, Abas
said.
The Comelec is
confident that the plebiscite that will be held on February 6 with its
affiliates from the PNP and the AFP, will be safe and successful, Abas added.
The Directorate
for Integrated Police Operation-Western Mindanao (DIPO-WESTMIN) Police Director
Daniel G Macatlang Jr. on his message before the troop shared his personal
experience to the contingents about his visit in the blast site in Jolo Sulu
wherein he felt sympathy with the victims.
Further, he
told the troops to be careful on responding to any explosion incidents that may
likely happen if they will not make themselves extra vigilant about unusual
activities of people during the plebiscite.
He also appealed
to those who plan to sow violence on plebiscite day to stop doing their evil
intentions and likewise set the Jolo incident as a lesson to learn from. He
told them to come home in good condition and in complete number after the
plebiscite.
Meanwhile, Rasco
commended the PRO 12 personnel contingents during January 21 BOL plebiscite in
Cotabato City for a secure, peaceful, and orderly conduct of the plebiscite.
On his
guidance to the contingents, he laid down safety reminders that each of the contingent
has to consider in carrying out his function, some of these reminders were
Observe Personal Security-where he said that one cannot serve and protect the
community if he is incapacitated Know his job description, and other safety
guidelines that a PNP personnel must take into consideration.
Rasco ended
his message hoping each contingent perform his best and to have a peaceful and
orderly BOL Plebiscite in North Cotabato on February 6.
