SuspectS in murder of former Gingoog councilor falls

GINGOOGCITY - Police arrested here the suspects in the murder of this city's former councilor Mark Bagaipo Wednesday.Police manning a checkpoint along the highway in Cugman apprehended Joshua De La Cruz, of Butuan City, and Joe Enerio, of Cagayan De Oro, during a routine check of vehicles.Police Supt. Lemuel Gonda, head of the Cagayan De Oro City’s operations, told reportersthat De La Cruz yielded a hand grenade while Enerio has a.45 caliber pistol and a grenade. The CMN Northern Mindanao said the suspects were regular inmates of the Maharlika detention center due to illegal drugs. Misamis Oriental Yevgeny Vicente Emano has formed Task Force Bagaipo after Bagaipo, 44was shot dead last March 31.Emano said the cartographic sketch provided by the witnesses similar to the facial features of the two suspects.
