Tacurong City exceeds non-tax collection target

TACURONG CITY -The local government of Tacurong today announced it surpassed its targetcollection on non-tax revenues as of November 24, officials said.Mayor Lina Montilla said the Tacurong City treasurer's office reported a collection of P47.4 million worth of non-tax revenues.City treasurer's office administrative officerRomulo Paclibar reported to Mayor Montilla about the feat during last Monday's flag raising program in front of the city hall.This figure translates to 104 percenttax
collection efficiency since theCTO’s target collection for non-tax revenues was pegged atP45.8 million for Fiscal Year 2014.

said City Treasurer Jessie Batchar.
As to the tax revenues, CTO had already
collected P40.3 million which was91 percentof the collection target of P44.2
million for FY 2014.
Batchar said all in all, LGU-Tacurong had already
collected P87.8 million tax and non-tax revenues, translating to 97 percentoverall
tax collection efficiency.
In 2013, Tacurong CTO achieved 129 percentcollection efficiency for tax and non-tax revenues. (LGU-Tacurong City
