Teenager ends life woman dies while seeking albularyo's services
KORONADAL CITY -- Depression appeared to have forced a 14-year-old boy to end his life by hanging, police in T'boli, South Cotabato said.Police Senior Inspector Jose Mari Simangan, town police chief, said Kulius Kagil Kilgayo of Sitio (sub-village)Tayabas inBarangay Agus, T'boli was found by his father inside his room at 7 p.m. Sunday. He used his belt to commit suicide, Simangan said.The father and neighbors rushed him to Moorehouse hospital but was declared dead on arrival.Meanwhile, in Banga, South Cotabato, a 17-year-old woman believed to have beensuffering from severe dengue hasdied while her relatives opted to seek a medical impostor'shelp in Barangay Punong GrandeSunday night.Bobby Delalamon, village chair, identified the woman asSamara Madriaga, 17, resident of BarangayLaguilayan, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.She was accompanied by here text-mate friend identified asRobert Cala, 32 of Barangay Titulok,Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat.Delalamon believed the woman has been suffering mysterious fever believed to be dengue before she was brought to a medical impostor. On Saturday, Cala and Madriaga arrived at the house of medial impostor, locally known as Albularyo, for treatment.While waiting for the albularyo, Madriaga passed out and eventually died, Delalamon said.Madriaga's grandmother appeared before the local police and declared her real name is Angeli Casi Monar. She has not gone home for the past two months, the grandmother said. The woman did not say why her grandchild left homeand where did she go.
