Tighter security on in Koronadal int'l festival
KORONADAL CITY - Stricter security has been imposed in and around Koronadal City as the International Folklore Festival entered its third day, police said. We ask the public to cooperate with the law enforcers in maintaining peace and order in the city while we enjoy the festival, Supt. Nestor Salcedo, Koronadal City police cheif. Salcedo said should there be any security concern, the public is advised to see police assistance center deployed around the site where the folklore events are held.Salcedo urged the Koronadalenios to abide by traffic re-routing scheme to avoid bottle neck and clogged road network.The city is hosting the first ever International Folklore Festival of the Council for International Organization of Folklore and Folkarts from August 10 to 19.
