Weekend heavy down pour floods Banga school

KORONADAL CITY - Floods triggered by an overnighttorrential rains submerged Banga National High School, damaging more than P500,000 worth of equipment, officials said.Barangay BenitezChairperson Napoleon Parreno told DXOM-AM Radyo Bida that an investigation is on going to determine the culpability of one person who allegedly blocked a culvert in his private lotthus diverting water flow toward the school grounds.He did not identify the private lot owner while investigation was going on.Parreno said he already sought the help of the Provincial Engineering Office for a diversion canal to save the school grounds.The floods damaged computer sets, books and other school records.
