LPA now tropical depression Egay

MANILA -The Low Pressure Area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has developed into a Tropical Depression, PAGASA today said.As of 10AM, Tropical Depression Egay was estimated at 520 km East of Virac, Catanduanes with maximum winds of 45 kph near the center and is forecast to move north northwest at 5 kph.Moderate to heavy rains are expected within the 300-km diameter of the tropical depression.Though #EgayPH is NOT expected to hit the Philippine landmass, it will enhance the southwest monsoon or hanging habagat that will bring frequent rains over the western section of the country.Fisher folks are advised not to venture out over the eastern seaboard of Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas.No public storm warning signal is issued.
