Fair weather in Mindanao but rains possible

WEATHER TODAY | The Low Pressure Area (LPA) prevails within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and was last spotted at 425 km east of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte. Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon or Hanging Amihan continues to affect Luzon.Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms will affect Eastern Visayas. Residents of this area are alerted against possible flash floods and landslides. The rest of Visayas, the regions of Bicolandamp Caraga and the provinces of Aurora andamp Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms The regions of Cordillera and Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains. Generally fair weather will prevail over Mindanao, only with chances of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
