KORONADAL CITY - A Magnitude 4.1 earthquake hit Digos City and its nearby areas Thursday, almost an hour after Magnitude 4.2 hit Burgos town in Surigao del Norte, the state volcanology office today said.No casualty or damages to property was reported in the 2:27 p.m. tremor traced by Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) 14 kilometers east of Digos City.It was tectonic in origin and has a depth of 17 kilometers, Phivolcs said.Intensity IV was felt in Digos City, Davao del Sur Davao City, Intensity III in Malita, Davao Occidentaland Intensity II in Kidapawan City.At 1:29 p.m. today, Magnitude 4.2 quake hit the town of Burgos in Surigao del Norte. It was tectonic in origin and its epicenter was traced 3 kilometers westof Burgos.
