LAMBAYONG, Sultan Kudarat – Three men believed to be related by blood were killed in an ambush along the national highway here Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The Lambayong Municipal Police Office, in a report, identified the victims as Nhor Talib, 34, Toton Ibad, 25 and Mike Ibad, 57, all residents of Barangay Namnama, Lamabyong.

Investigation showed that the victims were on board a tricycle driven by Mike Ibad when two men on motorbike shot them using gun guns along the national road in Barangay Maligaya.

One of the victims tried to escape by running from the crime scene but was chased and further shot by the suspects.
