Son of longtime DXMS technician now registered nurse

COTABATO CITY --- Members of Central Mindanao’s vaunted Oblate Media share with the happiness of the family of Station DXMS technician Allan Hampac over his son’s having hurdled the nursing board examination held November 16 to 18, 2019.
The Oblate Media is comprised of different stations of the Notre Dame Broadcasting Corporation scattered in the region and its widely read weekly newspaper, the Mindanao Cross, all of the Oblates of the Mary Immaculate (OMI) congregation,
Hampac’s son, the 21-year-old Allen Russell, graduated from the nursing college of the Notre Dame University, also owned by the OMI, whose pontifical base is in Rome but has been operating religious and humanitarian missions in Central Mindanao, in Sulu and in Tawi-Tawi island provinces since before World War II.
Reporters of the Oblate Media, working for outfits that pioneered peace and conflict-sensitive journalism in Southern Mindanao, are just as glad with Allan Russell’s having become a registered nurse through the guidance of father, Allan and mother, Erlyn. []
