COTABATO CITY - The Cotabato Light and Power Company announced the scheduled power interruption affecting some parts of Barangay Macaguiling, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao on April 30, 2024, from 8:00 AM - 12:00 NN (4 hours).

This is to facilitate upgrading of lines in the area.

COTABATO CITY - MAHIGIT P340,000 na smuggled cigarettes nasamsam sa baybayin ng Simuay, Sultan Mastura, Maguindanao del Norte.

Sa isinagawang Anti-Smuggling Operation ng Sultan Mastura PNP kasama ang Maguindanao del Norte police office, nadiskubre ang 22 kahon ng smuggled cigarettes sa Brgy Simuay Seashore, Sultan Mastura, Maguindanao del Norte 6:35 ng kagabi.

Ayon kay Sultan Mastura PNP, inabandona ng mga suspek ang mga sigarilyo matapos mapansin na may tropa ng pamahalaan sa lugar.

Ito ay tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng P346,500.

The interruption was scheduled to facilitate the restructuring of the primary line in the area.

ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat - A recidivist under the authorities' target list was nabbed in a buy-bust operation initiated by PDEA Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office, joint with members of the local police on April 19, 2024, at 4:15 in the afternoon at Brgy. Kenram, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

In a report, PDEA XII, headed by Director Aileen T Lovitos,  identified as Sherwyn Barrientos, 40, a farmer, and a resident of Purok Sto. Niño, Brgy. Kalawag 3, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

COTABATO CITY - Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Musoim Mindanao have successfully apprehended high-value targets involved in the sale of 1 kilo of Shabu during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Saduc, Marawi City, at about 2:10 p.m. of April 20, 2024.

The said operation was supported by the 3rd Scout Ranger Battalion, Intelligence Operative, Marawi City Police Station, PDEU LDS PPO, Task Force Marawi and the 500 Combat Engineering Battalion.

KIDAPAWAN CITY - BUMUO NG ISANG SPECIAL INVESTIGATION TEAM ang Dept of Justice upang hawakan ang kaso ng pagpatay kay radio broadcaster Eduardo Ed Dizon sa Kidapawan matapos na isa sa mga suspect ay napawalang sala habang ang isa ay nakapag-piyansa.

Si Ed Dizon ay binaril at napatay noong July 10, 2019 ng gabi sa Kidapawan City.

Sa isang memorandum, inaprobahan ni Justice Sec. Crispin Remulla ang pagbubuo ng special investigation team o SIT bilang tugon sa hiling ni Presidential Task Force on Media Security o PTFoMS executive director Undersecretary Paul M. Gutierrez.
