WEATHER TODAY | The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), an area where winds coming from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres meet, will affect Palawan and Mindanao. According to PAGASA, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected over Mindanao, Western Visayas and the province of Palawan. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms.

KORONADAL CITY – At least 24 persons have been downed by noodles and rice Saturday in
what officials believed was another case of food poisoning in a mountain town
in South Cotabato, officials said Sunday.

The victims are
now confined in a private hospital in Barangay Edwards, T’boli town in South
Cotabato, according to Romar Azarcon, Church leader from Surallah.

(Cotabato Light) has started implementing rotational brownout in its franchise
area, the power firm announced today.

Arlene Hipega, Cotabato Light corporate communications

COTABATO CITY - A man lost P76,000 cash to a robbery suspect who appeared to have knowledge thathe was carrying huge amount of cash.Johnny Suarez, 30, a resident of Poblacion 8,Midsayap, North Cotabato and works in an appliance store as collector, was driving his red Honda motorbike when flagged down by the suspect in a highway in Barangay Binoligan, Kidapawan City.The suspects gestured he knew Suarez so he pulled over as the man approached him at 7 a.m. Friday.
